Vandana walia is the founder of Vchilli Group – one of the only South Asian woman owned Event planning and production companies in Chicago .Vchilli is a boutique event management company that not only plans and produces events across all spaces but also provides decor solutions , Styling and design solutions , Corporate social responsibility solutions and unlike other event companies has a niche’ in CRM , event marketing and PR , and creative strategies to successfully achieve client objects.Her extensive background in textiles, manufacturing and  fashion brings a unique sensibility to the organization.

Vandana is a community leader who has served on numerous boards and given back to the Chicago community. She is the past Executive Vice President of Federation Of Indian Association of Chicago, President of Share A Smile Chicago, Executive board member of Chicago Dramatist, local board member of Akshaypatra and involved in South Asian Talent Management in Chicago. She has successfully integrated and brought the South Asian culture to the mainstream in Chicago. She has been featured in Voyager Chicago, Business Media Radio, Global Event Resource, Womens Economic Forum and Brown Girl Magazine.

She grew up in Iran during the revolution and has lived in numerous middle eastern countries , London and Delhi.She owned a manufacturing unit in India for over a decade and was supplying to stores like Nordstrom , Selfridges , Laura Ashley and helped her father set up a famous indian restaurant in Beijing !
